Netbook gameing
Today the big new tech toy is the netbook computer smaller than a notebook and bigger than a pda. The major downside is that they cannot run high-end 3d apps due to the limited space and cpu load that also keeps vista off of them leaveing linux and windows xp home as your os options. most likely you probly have windows os and the bulk of stores only mention that the simple flash games will run on them. But you do have another option games built for the older DOS x86 systems. Thanks to the dosbox team the titles that came out when the space on you net book was consitered large can be played. The selection is not just limited to platformers a ton of good game that were passed over in the 90's are out packed with emulation. one site to get older games is GOG.com the titles sold on this site are tested to run on xp and vista and include some titles that had gameplay equaling modern titles such as blake stone and ROTT. Apogee has also relunched there own store provideing all of the titles they still sell packed with a preconfigured dosbox install except for there one windows title witch still runs on xp. id has put a good amount of there back libary on steam also including dosbox for thew ms-dos titles.
